This course prepares you for SCA certification, equipping you with industry-standard skills and knowledge for professional or advanced home brewing.

What happens during the class:

1. You will have a thorough understanding of the 7 fundamentals of brewing, which include grind size, water quality, temperature, time, turbulence, coffee-to-water ratio, and extraction.

2. You will be equipped with the skills to fine-tune each variable to suit different brewing methods, enabling you to bring out the best flavour profiles from your coffee.

3. You will understand the significance of water composition, hardness, and pH in brewing and be able to assess and adjust water quality to enhance coffee extraction.

You will leave the course confident in using various brewing devices, from manual brewers to machines, applying both theoretical and practical knowledge to achieve consistent, high-quality results.
